One fine day I had a call from Vibhu following up on an email. They are looking for a photographer for their special day. We chated for a while when she said that it is a destination wedding and would I travel? I said for sure, done it many times and lots of couples choose a destination for their wedding, Mexico, Dominican, Cuba I am thinking. She says its going to be in a castle in Scotland! In Scotland? In a castle? Oh my.... now thats super exciting. Already saw the pictures in my mind, misty hills, lush greenery, old castle. I could hear the Highlander music in my ears already from Queen....

I am so excited for this wedding, it is going to be super spectacular! I have visited England many times, traveled Ireland a few times but never have i set foot on Scotland. 
Plus Vibhu will be in a traditional Indian wedding dress, so even more colors to ad. Last weekend we traveled to Crowsnest Pass about 2 hours from Calgary, that is if you stick to the road the one thats paved and dont always rely on GPS. Well we took a bit of a turn and had to travel about and extra 50km on dirt road though the hills. It was a nice ride and I just hoped that at the end of the road...its not THE END OF THE ROAD! Me and Jason navigating plus his phone with GPS, my IPhone with GPS and my regular Car GPS showing all alternate routing we finally made it to pavement.....Huh, I could see the the relief on Vibhu's face. A bit more travel on proper roads and we reached our destination. It was a nice bright sunny day.
